Golden Hour Couples Session on a Horse Farm
A summer evening in the Loudoun County countryside with horses in the fields, warm light hanging around until the very end, and nowhere we needed to be.
This one felt easy. We wandered the farm, stopped wherever the light looked good, and let the horses work their way into the story too.
Just before the sun disappeared.
There is something about photographing people somewhere with room to move that changes the whole feeling of a session.
No standing in one spot wondering what to do with your hands. Just walking through the fields, leaning against fences, saying hi to the horses, and letting the evening unfold however it wanted to.
The light got softer, the fields got quieter, and for a little while it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.

Purcellville is one of my favorite places for couples and engagement photos in Northern Virginia. It still has that open, rural feeling that makes Loudoun County so beautiful, with horse farms, vineyards, fields, mountain views, and quiet back roads all within a short drive of Leesburg.
