A LITTLE ABOUT THE HUMAN BEHIND THE CAMERA
Hi, I'm Hannah.
Photographer, filmmaker at heart, and professional noticer of the little things.
I grew up in Oregon, where I fell in love with big landscapes, long drives, and the kind of light that makes you pull the car over. These days, I call Virginia home, but that love of people, place, and storytelling comes with me everywhere.
Before photography, I found my way into storytelling through film, and I think a little bit of that still lives in every photograph I make. I'm always looking for the scene within the scene: the movement, the glances, the ridiculous laughs, and all the tiny things happening around the moment everyone thinks they're supposed to be paying attention to.
Mostly, I just really like people being themselves.

Hannah From Earth is a Northern Virginia photographer documenting weddings, couples, and portraits throughout Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, Oregon, and beyond. Based near Leesburg, Virginia, with roots in Central Oregon, I photograph everything from intimate sessions and wedding days on the East Coast to celebrations in Bend, the Oregon Coast, and destinations across the U.S.
My approach blends documentary storytelling with a filmmaker's eye, focusing on connection, movement, place, and all the little moments that make your photographs feel like you.
